WHAT IS MLD (MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE)?
MLD, or Manual Lymphatic Drainage, is a soothing and rhythmic full body treatment designed to activate the lymphatic system. It aids in reducing swelling, facilitating detoxification, and enhancing the immune system. This calming therapy can be particularly advantageous for individuals looking for relief from fluid retention, inflammation, chronic pain and an overall sense of well-being.
WHICH MODALITIES ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR MASSAGE SESSION?
Kate has a wide range of tools and is certified in a plethora of modalities including Swedish relaxing techniques and deep tissue modalities such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release. She also incorporates acupressure, facial massage, reflexology, integrated stretching, and nervous system
regulation techniques. She is certified in Manual Lymph Drainage — the Vodder Technique. Energy work and reiki are incorporated along with your permission.
Please note that essential oils, cupping, scrapping, gua sha, deep blue rub, and hot stones are completely complimentary for every session and are integrated based on one's needs once you are assessed as a good candidate and do not present contraindications. If there is a specific modality you'd like to experience please request during your intake.
Any attempt of sexual conduct or explicit conversations will not be permitted. In the event of such behavior, the session will be promptly concluded, and you will be requested to depart the premises with the understanding that you are not welcome to return. Authorities may be contacted if necessary.
HOW DOES THE MEMBERSHIP WORK?
The Monthly and Bi-weekly Memberships are verbal commitment between you and I. As long as you book your session(s) the for the following month the membership rate will be honored. If you miss a month you will come back in at the regular rate for that session and then the membership rate will be reinstated for the following monthly session. There is no card on file, no cancellation fee, no contract. I keep it simple and stress free.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
I fully understand life happens and things come up. With that being said, I require cancellation 24hrs prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within the 24hr period you’ll be charged 50% of the service rate and if you cancel the same-day, you will be charged 100% of the service rate. Thank you for your understanding!
